The Science of Shopping

Malcolm Gladwell is a famous writer for the New Yorker, and his article known as The Science of Shopping is purely based on the study of the retail anthropology by Paco Underhill. The main purpose of retail stores is basically to attract potential customers with the aim of convincing them to buy as many products as they can. There is adequate knowledge which researchers can be studied. For example, researchers can study how people’s way of thinking is affected by the environment during the shopping. People always take such small details for granted, and people fail to think about them during the shopping. Paco Underhill notices and identifies these small details that affect in one way or another, people’s way of shopping.
