The Role of IT in the Globalization of Wyeth

The reason for analyzing Wyeth is to find out how the organization used information technology to become globalised. Companies that have various divisions need to ensure that they have extremely enduring business processes in order to integrate successfully into its core functions. In order to come up with effective architectures, organizations have to use business models that are decentralized and centralized and even both. This means that IT is a key tool because it can integrate and support the organization’s key functions. It is vital that an organization has a system, which is IT enabled because it aligns the vision and mission with information technology.
