Huawei Technologies Limited is a Chinese multinational networking, telecommunications equipment, and services company. Its headquarters is in Shenzhen, Guangdong and deals mainly with the manufacturing of telecommunications equipment. The inauguration of the company was in 1988 by an ex-military officer known as Ren Zhengfei. The company was initially a private company owned by its employees. Huawei’s main products are telecommunication equipment and devices including mobile phones as well as operational and consulting services for their products. The company has research and development institutes in China, United States, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, India, Russia, and Turkey. These institutes aid the company in expanding its market niches.
